1. Information we collect

When you create an account or build your profile, we collect details you choose to provide — such as your name, email address, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth, current city, gender, relationship intent, bio, and profile photographs. We also collect usage data (pages visited, features used, interactions with matches) and technical data (IP address, browser type, device identifiers) to keep the service secure and improve your experience.

2. How we use your information

• To generate your birth chart, Kundli Milan compatibility reports, and Navamsha-based match suggestions.
• To run our AI Matchmaking Consultant (“Ask Nava”) using your profile and birth data as context.
• To show your profile to other users you may be compatible with, based on the preferences and filters you set.
• To process payments and manage your subscription tier.
• To send you notifications about matches, messages, and account activity.
• To detect fraud, enforce our Terms & Conditions, and keep the community safe.

3. AI validation of photos

To maintain authenticity, we use automated image analysis to verify that uploaded profile photographs contain a real human face. Images of objects, deities, celebrities, or non-human subjects may be rejected. This processing is automated and helps us protect the integrity of the platform.

4. Birth details are confidential

You retain ownership of your birth date, birth time, and birth place. We treat these as confidential information. We never sell them, they are never publicly displayed on the platform (other profiles do not see your raw birth date, time, or place), and they are processed only to provide the services you have requested — such as chart generation, Kundli Milan, AI insights, and match recommendations.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate Navamatch (for example, cloud hosting, payment processing via Razorpay, and analytics). We may also disclose data when required by law or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.

6. Improving our AI & matching models

We may use anonymized and aggregated data to improve our algorithms, matching systems, and AI models over time. Anonymized and aggregated data has had direct identifiers (such as name, email, phone, and specific birth details) removed or transformed so that it cannot reasonably be used to identify you. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not send identifiable personal data to third parties to train their foundation models.

7. Your choices & rights

You can review, edit, or delete your profile at any time from your account settings. You may also request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account entirely by contacting us at the email below. If you are in a jurisdiction that grants additional privacy rights (such as the right to object to processing), we will honor those requests to the extent applicable.

8. Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide you with services and comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account, we will remove your profile and photos from active systems within a reasonable period, though some data may remain in backups or logs for a limited time for security and legal purposes.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular monitoring — to protect your information. No system is completely secure, so we encourage you to use strong passwords and keep your login credentials private.

10. Cookies & analytics

Navamatch uses cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, authenticate sessions, and understand how the platform is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. 11. Children

Navamatch is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services evolve. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the app or by email. Your continued use of Navamatch after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
